The Hackathon is governed by the rules set out below (“Hackathon rules”). By entering the Hackathon, the undersigned (“Participant” or “you”) agree to abide by the Hackathon Rules as well as the decision of Organizer, Facilitator and Hackathon judges. 1. Overview: Hackathon brings together dozens of employees, students, entrepreneurs, business professionals, engineers, designers and other individuals to compete by solving actual business cases in diverse teams of 2 - 6 people, generating new business ideas and being involved in a 1-day innovation marathon. Hackathon will be held on 19.11.2026 live using virtual tools for which participants will get instructions after confirming the agreement. 2. Registration and Organization: Because Hackathon is an international competition and requires detailed organization, you are asked to ensure the seriousness of your participation. 3. To take part in the Hackathon, it is necessary to register and fill the application form that is visible to you below after you confirm that you agree with the conditions of participation. Incomplete application forms and/or that contain untrue information determine the expulsion of the team from the Hackathon. Registration doesn’t constitute itself a confirmation of participation at Hackathon. Participants will receive an e-mail with notice of acceptance by: 16.11.2026. Participants will be chosen by the Organizer and Facilitator based on materials submitted via an application form and based on the Criteria set out by the Organizer and Facilitator. The decision of the Organizer and Facilitator is final and may not be subject to complaint. The number of chosen Participants is left to the discretion of the Organizer and Facilitator. 4. Entry: The Hackathon requires teams consisting of individuals aged above 18 to create an innovative, demonstrative solution that solves an actual technical-business case and gathers the most points at the end of the Hackathon ("Entry"). All Entries must meet the following general conditions: (i) The language used in Entries must be the English or German Language. (ii) A team may only submit one Entry. Each team is multidisciplinary and composed of different profiles and backgrounds. Based on the applications, the Organizer will select the Participants and assemble the teams. If the Participant has a preference on who he/she wants to be in the team, he/she has to inform Organizer and Facilitator via on-line application (field: Team members) that he/she is applying as a part of the team and who are the team members. However, each member of the team must register individually and accept these Terms and conditions individually. Due to a large number of individuals who apply, each team must be prepared to accept some additional members that the Organizer and Facilitator might assign to the team. Teams will consist of 4-6 team members. The number of team members may vary between teams at the end. Composition of teams and number of team members are left to the discretion of the Organizer and Facilitator. Preliminary composition of teams may be subject to change. Final composition of teams will be determined by the Organizer at least three days before the Hackathon, 16.11.2026. The Organizer of the Hackathon will provide to all Participants access to all communication tools necessary.
